Day 209 : Alright, Got The Ball Rolling.

So I actually got some writing done today. I wrote around 4k today so I'm pretty pleased with that. It's not as much as I should have done over the past couple of days. Short post tonight guys but I'm tired and have work in the morning so that's all I've got.

Day 203: I'm Tired...

It's 11:30am and I'm really really tired. I actually woke up this morning around 7:30 but tried my hardest to get back to sleep since I'd stayed up a little later than usual last night. Didn't go so well and I ended up having a series of naps instead. Ah well, c'est la vie as the saying goes. Time to get writing. I've got just under an hour before I have to get ready and catch my bus for work. I think I can possibly knock out 1,000 words in that time...if I stop typing here.

Day 202 : Massive Wordcount

I got a grand total of 700 something words written tonight. I'm tired, my eyes are sore and watering. I need a break from the writing and probably a heck of a lot of sleep. I've got crappy work tomorrow but not until 2pm (although I have to get a bus into work at just the back of 1pm otherwise I'd be late). So, depending on what time I actually wake up, I might get some writing done before I go to work and then I can definitely do a little writing when I get home after work (although that'll probably end up being around 8 or 8.30pm...ish. I finish at 7.30pm but I have to wait on my dad finishing all his little tasks before I can actually go home. It sucks.)

I'm looking forward to tomorrow though, the dvd's that I ordered last Friday should be arriving. I was expecting them today but they didn't come...obviously. I think I'll make myself hold off on watching them until I've written at least 2,000 words. That should be a good motivational boost.

Day 202 : Wordcount Update

So, I finally got around to transferring all my files from the old laptop to the new and I've tallied up all the words that I've typed since the beginning of the year. My current total for the year is 74,072. I'm pretty pleased with that total considering I haven't written anything at all for about 5 of the 7 months that we've had so far. Quickly trying to calculate what I should be at right now...

Actual Total: 74,072
Target Total: 335,007

Um...oops? I think I need to rethink the 600K end of year goal. Then again NaNoWriMo is coming up and I may just surprise myself with it. There's still 5 months left in this year and if I was to write 5K everyday from now on then I should be back on track by...September 6th 2010.

I'll probably end up forgetting about it again but hopefully not. Hopefully.

Day ??? : Did You Miss Me?

Holy crap, I'm back! :D

So, it's been what? Almost three months since I was last on here? Let me catch you up a bit because I've had a lot going on lately.

Ok, let's see...where to start...I no longer volunteer at the Red Cross anymore. I now work in a cash and carry alongside my older brother and my dad. It's hard work and my back, feet and arms are constantly hurting because of it but it's a fulltime job I've been doing for almost 9 weeks now and I get paid £200 every friday! It's a great place to work, not for the actual work itself but for the people that work there. Let's see, what else...I've actually done a fair bit of drawing in the past few months. I've finished that Robert Pattinson drawing for my friend and I did another smaller drawing for myself as well as having two half started/finished drawings that I still need to work on. My laptop died on me...literally. The power cable wouldn't charge the laptop so it's been sitting dormant for a month and a half with all of my novels and fan fictions on it. It's...been...torture! BUT yesterday I got tired of waiting any longer and I went out and bought myself a brand spanking new laptop that's all spiffy and whatnot. I need to transfer my hard drive from the old laptop to my new one but I've at least got Microsoft Word so I've been writing something, which incidentally is the first time I've written anything in a while although I have actually written some stuff during my complete absense from this blog.

So, enough ranting and chattering. I'll update with totals later hopefully. I'm away to bug my dad about fixing my hard drives.
